CM Sri A Revanth Reddy and Minister Sri Sridhar Babu inaugurated HCL Tech KRC Campus in Hyderabad

Hon’ble Chief Minister Revanth Reddy reaffirmed his vision for the state’s progress, stating, “Telangana Rising… Hyderabad Rising… Some had doubts initially, but with the rapid developments unfolding, everyone now acknowledges it. The world is recognizing Telangana’s growth, and this momentum will not stop.”

Today, the Chief Minister, along with IT & Industries Minister Sridhar Babu, inaugurated the HCL Tech Global Delivery Center in Madhapur, Hyderabad.

Speaking at the event, he highlighted Hyderabad’s transformation into a global hub:

“Hyderabad’s competition is not with Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, or Bengaluru—it is with the world’s leading cities. Some called it a big dream, but today, Telangana ranks No.1 in EV adoption, leads in AI, and has positioned itself as a hub for data centers, green energy, life sciences, biotech, skill development, manufacturing, and agri-processing.”

“Every day, we are either signing MoUs with multinational corporations or inaugurating major corporate facilities in Hyderabad. This is a testament to Telangana’s rapid growth and investor confidence.”

“In just one year, Telangana has attracted the highest international and domestic investments, securing the top spot in the country. We have adopted AI faster than other states while maintaining one of the lowest inflation rates.”

The Chief Minister also reiterated his ambitious vision for the state’s economic growth:

“When I announced the goal of making Telangana a $1 Trillion GDP state, some said it was impossible. But just through two Davos business summits, we signed agreements worth ₹40,000 crore and attracted ₹1.78 lakh crore in investments.”

Highlighting Telangana’s growing prominence in the life sciences sector, he said:

“We invited Amgen, one of the world’s top life sciences companies, to Hyderabad. We successfully hosted BioAsia2025, one of the world’s best biotech summits. And today, we are inaugurating the new HCL campus.”

The Chief Minister lauded HCL Tech for its contribution to India’s technological advancement:

“HCL Tech, operating in 60 countries with 2.2 lakh employees, is driving innovation in digital, engineering, cloud, and AI. Since its arrival in Hyderabad in 2007, it has grown tremendously. With this new world-class 3.2 lakh sq. ft. facility, 5,000 new jobs will be created—another milestone for Hyderabad’s booming tech sector.”

The event was attended by HCL CEO & Managing Director C. Vijay Kumar, SVP & Global Head of Digital Business Pawan Vadapalli, Industries Department Principal Secretary Jayesh Ranjan, and several distinguished guests.
