మైనారిటీల సంక్షేమ శాఖ 1993లో ఏర్పడింది. రాష్ట్రంలోని మైనారిటీల సామాజిక ఆర్థికాభివృద్ధి, విద్యాపరమైన పురోగతి ఈ శాఖ ప్రధాన లక్ష్యం. ఈ శాఖ ప్రధాన కార్యకలాపాలు: మైనారిటీల్లో సామాజిక ఆర్థికాభివృద్ధిని వేగవంతం చెయ్యడం కోసం పథకాలను ప్రవేశపెట్టడం, మైనారిటీ వర్గాలకు చెందిన విద్యార్థుల కోసం విద్యాపరమైన రాయితీలను ప్రవేశపెట్టడం, మైనారిటీ వర్గాలకు చెందిన మహిళలు మరియు పిల్లల అభివృద్ధి కోసం పథకాలు అమలు చేయడం, శిక్షణ, ఉపాధి అవకాశాలను అందించడం, మైనారిటీల్లో ఆర్థిక వెనుకబాటు తనం సమస్యను పరిష్కరించడం, పారిశ్రామిక వ్యాపారాలను ఏర్పాటు చేయాలనుకొనే మైనారిటీ వర్గాలవారికి మార్గదర్శకత్వం అందించడం.

The Department of Minorities Welfare was created in the year 1993. The primary objective of the Department is Socio Economic Development and Educational Advancement of Minorities in the State.
Acquiring, printing, preserving rare oriental classic manuscripts of Arabic language
To safeguard the interest of the Minority Communities in the State and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.
As per Section (83) of the Waqf Act, 1995 (Central Act 43 of 1995) the State Government constitute Waqf Tribunal for the determination of any dispute, question or other matter relating to a Waqf or Waqf property, eviction of a tenant or determination of rights and obligations of the lessor and the lessee
